  • What types of apartments do you offer?
    We offer three layouts of two-bedroom, two or two and a half bathrooms. Each apartment is designed with modern features and spacious layouts to accommodate different lifestyles.
  • What is the rent range for your apartments?
    Rent prices vary depending on the apartment size and location within the complex. Please visit our "Floor Plans" page or contact our leasing office for the most up-to-date pricing.
  • What is included in the rent?
    Rent includes water, trash removal, Verizon WIFI, and access to community amenities including our state-of-the-art Clubhouse. You will receive a monthly electric bill via Resident Portal for your usage. Please confirm details with our leasing office.
  • Is renter's insurance required?
    No, renter's insurance is not required, but highly recommended. We have a Waiver Program that is $15/month per apartment. The Waiver Fee waives Tenant's obligation to indemnify Landlord from accidental damages arising from Tenant's accidental acts or omissions as described in Section 8 of your Residential Lease. The Waiver Fee is not renter's insurance nor is it designed to replace a renter's insurance policy. It is recommended that you consult a licensed insurance agent should you have questions about your need for coverage.
  • What school district is the property located in?
    551 North is located in the Upper Moreland School District located in Upper Moreland Township, Montgomery County.
  • How do I apply for an apartment?
    You can apply online through our website for no cost. Simply choose your preferred move-in date, floor plan, fill out the application, and submit the necessary documentation.
  • What is the application process?
    After you submit your application, our team will review your information. You will need to provide proof of income, identification, and a credit check. This is done through our trusted third-party service Resident Verify. If approved, we will notify you to schedule a lease signing.
  • Do you require a security deposit?
    No, a security deposit is not required upon signing the lease. Due with signing a lease is a one-time administration fee of $499.
  • Is there an application fee?
    No, there is no fee to apply to live at 551 North. There is, however, a $499 Administrative/Facilities Fee once you have decided to complete a lease to live at our property. The Administrative/Facilities Fee is a nonrefundable annual fee due at lease signing for all new leases and renewal leases. The fee covers the online application process, renewal lease generation, resident screening, on-site security, annual lock programming, 24-7 access to the online Resident Portal, security camera monitoring and maintenance, after-hour call center services, and maintenance of all amenity spaces.
  • How long is the lease term?
    Our standard lease term is 12 months, but we also can accommodate other lease terms upon request.
  • What amenities are available on-site?
    Our community features a variety of amenities, including a fitness center, resort style pool, Clubhouse, secure mail room, dog stations, business center, 24-hour emergency maintenance and overnight security.
  • What are your fitness center hours?
    Our on-site fitness center is open from 8am-10pm, 7 days a week.
  • Are pets allowed?
    Yes, we are a pet-friendly community! We allow up to two (2) animals per apartment. There are restrictions on breed and size, so be sure to check with the leasing office for details. A pet deposit of $250 and a $30/month pet rent fee will be applied to your financial ledger.
  • Is there parking available?
    We offer ample parking spaces for residents at 551 North. Residents can have up to two cars for $50/month. One car, no monthly fee! We have designated Guest Parking spots for your guest to register when visiting.
  • Are there laundry facilities on-site?
    Yes, every apartment has in-unit washer and dryers.
  • How do I request maintenance?
    You can submit a maintenance request online via the resident portal or by calling our leasing office during business hours. For emergencies, we offer 24/7 emergency maintenance support.
  • How quickly will maintenance requests be addressed?
    Non-urgent maintenance requests are typically addressed within 1-2 business days. Emergency issues will be prioritized and addressed immediately.
  • How do I pay my rent?
    Rent payments can be made online via our resident portal, check by mail, or in person at the leasing office.
  • What is the late fee policy?
    Rent is due on the 1st of every month. A late fee will be applied if rent is not paid by the 6th. Please refer to your lease agreement for specific late fee details.
  • Can I set up automatic payments?
    Yes, you can set up automatic monthly payments through our online portal for convenience.
  • What is the guest policy?
    Residents are allowed guests, but overnight guests must be registered with the leasing office if staying longer than 7 consecutive nights. For specific visitor rules, please refer to your lease agreement.
  • Can I make changes to my apartment?
    Any modifications require prior approval from the management office. For specifics, please refer to your lease agreement.
  • What is the smoking policy?
    In our community, smoking is permitted outdoors only. We have designated smoking stations located at each building for your convenience. Smoking is not allowed inside any buildings or apartments.
  • What do I need to bring to move in?
    Be sure to log into your Resident portal and complete the Move-In checklist. Upon arrival to the Clubhouse bring a valid ID, and any other required documentation. We will provide move-in instructions and keys upon lease signing.
  • What is the move-out process?
    Before moving out, please give notice as outlined in your lease agreement (typically 30 days). You will need to schedule a move-out inspection to return the apartment to its original condition.
  • Can I renew my lease?
    Upon request. You will receive a renewal notice a few months before your lease ends with details on renewal options and potential rent adjustments.
